Espiche Golf Description

The Espiche Golf Course which is the newest course in the world of Algarve golf. The course gently provides an undulating 18 hole par 72 course that blends into the local landscape. Lakes, streams, and indigenous planting, add to the enrichment and biodiversity of the area. The various attractive aspects that the course offers the golfer are a clever blend of open countryside with vineyards and views to the Monchique Mountains. The close proximity to Praia da Luz and the City of Lagos offers an excellent and convenient location.

Ein sehr schwieriger Platz - man muss viele Bäle dabei haben. Grund: das Gelände ist oft so hügelig und schief, dass die Bälle auf dem trockenen Boden einfach in eine völlig andere Richtung rollen oder aufschlagen als geplant, Wir lieben den Platz gerade aus dem Grund, man muss nur wissen, wo man hinspielen sollte, damit der Ball auch die Runde übersteht.

Played here lots of times with different outcomes, I only lost 2 balls this time 😀, the greens were immaculate if a bit slow would recommend but take plenty of old balls.

Golf course at Espiche is fantastic. Quite a tight layout, but some very interesting holes. Very memorable. The merchandise available was a little disappointing, but I guess it's not a huge tourist course, but more of an ex-pat course. We stayed for lunch which was nice, and the service in the bar was top class. If we are ever back in the Algarve, we will definitely visit Espiche GC again. Thanks.
