Salgados Description

The 18 hole Salgados Golf Course set on the flat lands behind the sandy beach of Praia de Gale. The environmental nature of the course is to associate it with a typical Links Course but with the added asset of the sun. It is very open to the elements with little vegetation and lots of water hazards. It requires a technically skilled player to achieve a good result from a round which can often be influenced by the prevailing onshore breeze.

Great course plenty of water sand and tight fairways would definitely play this challenging course again. Staff very very welcoming and helpful. Cart and bag room staff top class service. Cart guy on course very helpful for drinks and anything needed. Pace of play was absolutely perfect with no delays . Will definitely be back again.

Amazing value for money, staff really nice, Callaway clubs that you can upgrade too were ai smoke and in a good condition. Course is hard but enjoyable

A number of tees have been re-laid and brought back into play prematurely (in my view) but the most disappointing aspect of our round was that we were accused of being too quick (we teed off at 7.40am!) when we challenged why they were putting groups out ahead of us when we arrived at the 10th (after 90 mins for our first 9 holes as a two ball). Sheer greed is the answer - squeezing groups off when the first is clearly booked!
